Learning
Learning in diversified forms is highly prized by the College community. Underpinning the curriculum offerings from Year 7 to 12 is the major objective of providing a well rounded education immersed in a culture of intellectual rigour and personal excellence.
The Curriculum programs are aligned with the Victorian Essential learning Standards (VELS) at Years 7 to 10, across 3 campuses. At Years 11 to 12, both Victorian school leaving qualifications, VCE and VCAL, are offered to students through a large choice of subjects, so that they can diversify their pathways.
In addition, from Year 10 onwards, students can also enrol in fully accredited VET programs, both on campus and off site at neighbouring TAFE campuses. VET units of competence are built into carefully selected courses of study so that students who undertake these courses can benefit from the credit they accumulate towards future courses of study.
Co-curricular programs include a range of taster programs, short courses, sporting and academic competitions with a particular emphasis on building team skills.
